In mid June I was diagnosed with shingles of the 7th nerve. The rash spread around the left side of the neck, behind the ear and to the back of the neck.

After about one week the rash was drying up. However about the seventh day with singles I suddenly realized that the left side of her face was not moving properly. This complication of shingles is called RAMSAY HUNT SYNDROME.

I rushed to my GP who sent her to a neurologist. The doctor has prescribed her a few types of medicine. After that I realize that the medicine make my feel so ill, my blood pressure went to 170, I can’t sleep and her ear was so painful.

Upon completion of the medication I was told by the doctor that now there was nothing more to be done except to take vitamin B, rest and hope for the best. I feels so frustrated.  

Lucky for her that her friend who had had Bell’s Palsy, recommended her to see an acupuncturist.  So I found the TOLE acupuncture centre. 

After undergo with consultation, Chinese Master recommended that I has to undergo with two 30 minute sessions of acupuncture per day for about one month. This includes taking 2 types of Tole’s Herbal Medicine for the paralysis and the singles per day.

I was happy to say that now I has almost completed 4 weeks of treatment and the facial paralysis and tinnitus has recovered almost completely.  I was confident that her recovery is almost 90% and that soon she will be fine.  The tinnitus has also improved a lot.
